InuYasha is the story of a girl's journey
to Feudal Japan through a magical well in her family's shrine in Tokyo. Away from home in a strange new land she meets
InuYasha, a half demon with some scores to settle. The girl, Kagome, seems familar to InuYasha and he soon realizes she is
the reincarnation of the priestess Kikyo, the woman who killed him 50 years ago, so much for a romantic beginning.
Together Kagome and InuYasha travel throughout
Japan, searching for the shards of the Shikon (Jewel) No Tama , a powerful stone that can grant someone the deepest desires
of their heart, but InuYasha only wants to be full demon, how greedy. Surviving great peril, the girl from the 21st century
and the half demon from ancient Japan find themselves drawn to each other. Kagome is 1 lucky girl.
Kagome has always been by Inu Yasha's side. No matter what he says or what
he does...or how many times he hurts her...Kagome is there for him.
Kagome has cried for Inu Yasha, on more than one occasion. She has seen him
in full human form...something he has always hidden from everyone. She has also seen Inu Yasha in full demon form. A scary
sight that would frighten anyone. Kagome slowly walked up to Inu Yasha...while the others shouted for her to stay away...and
said "SIT". Inu Yasha was returned to his normal form.
Kagome has been there for Inu Yasha during his most desperate moments. She
has saved his life on many occasions and was there for him after he killed an entire village of people while in demon
form. Even when Inu Yasha pushed her away because he thought she was forcing herself to be near him...Kagome refused to leave,
and hugged him.
When Kagome was cursed by the Dark Miko Tsubaki, even though every bone in
her body was being told to kill Inu Yasha...to send an arrow through his heart...her love for him was too strong and she managed
to fight off the curse. And when under the baby's (Naraku's Heart) mind control...the idea that she hated Inu Yasha was planted
into her head. She fought that off too. Not even mind control could change the way her heart felt about Inu Yasha.
Kagome keeps Inu Yasha strong. He is a better fighter when she is around.
She keeps him grounded and in line with the "SIT" command. And, even though Kagome knows Kikyo is evil and only wants to take
Inu Yasha to hell with her...she puts up with him helping her because she knows Inu Yasha's guilt over her death.
Inu Yasha loves Kagome deep down. He has come close to telling her so many
times. He is afraid of putting himself out there and then experiencing what he did with Kikyo all those years ago.
Inu Yasha is very protective of Kagome. And gets quite jealous
whenever other guys get too close to her. He's had many battles with Kouga over Kagome. He knows Kagome doesn't love Kouga...but
it still drives him crazy to see him near her.
While chasing after Kikyo one day, Inu Yasha realizes that it was al a set-up
and that Kagome is in trouble. He manages to reach Kagome just in time...but it was a very close call. Inu Yasha vows to not
let his desire to help Kikyo cost him Kagome's life. Kikyo is just a maniac... Kagome and Inuyasha deserve to be together.
